Daniel Porter wins Disability Award at Ettrick and Lauderdale Sports Awards

Congratulations to Daniel Porter who won the 2019 Disability Award at the recent Ettrick and Lauderdale Sports Awards.

Daniel received this award for an excellent season this year which was capped off by him earning his first Scotland cap in September at the Para-Bowls Home Nations International Series in Cardiff.

He recorded three out of four wins with two pairs victories against England and Wales and a triples victory over Wales as Scotland finished second in the overall table, four points behind England.

Furthermore, Daniel is a committee member on the Scottish Borders Disability Sport Group trying to help promote Para-Bowls and gain more representation from The Borders at National and International level.
