Bowls Scotland partner with Gallagher
Bowls Scotland are delighted to announce a new partnership with insurance broker and risk management firm, Gallagher.
Gallagher provides services to many local businesses and communities across Scotland and Northern England, helping to ensure they have the right insurance and risk management in place to protect their business. Formed in 1927, Gallagher has over 6,000 employees in the UK alone, including a 100-strong Glasgow team which will be responsible for supporting bowling clubs throughout Scotland.
For the last 12 consecutive years Gallagher has been recognised by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the world’s most ethical companies and it is no stranger to working within sport as it is the title sponsor of the English Rugby Premiership. Gallagher will now support bowling clubs across Scotland with the following types of insurance cover:
- Bespoke Commercial Combined
- Directors and Officers liability
- Automatic Day One Inflation provision up to 25% on buildings
Before completing our partnership agreement, Gallagher worked with Springburn Bowling Club to assist with its insurance cover. Speaking on Springburn BC’s relationship with Gallagher, the club’s Honorary Treasurer, Janice McVean, said “I have been the Honorary Treasurer of Springburn Bowling Club for the past 10 years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with Gallagher as did my predecessor.
