Kay Moran takes bronze at World Cup

Kay Moran is a World Bowls 2018 World Cup bronze medalist.

It was a wonderful week in Warilla, Australia, for the Team Scotland squad member. Kay reached the semi-finals of the tournament, where she was beaten 10-4 7-7 by Bec Van Asch of Australia.

"I'm over the moon to have won a bronze medal," Kay said. "The World Cup has sharpened up my form and given me confidence for heading up to the Gold Coast [for the Commonwealth Games]. Can't wait to meet up with my team-mates and get on the greens."

Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games lawn bowls begin on Thursday 5th April at Broadbeach BC.
