2023 Try Bowls Survey results

2023 saw a 46% increase in the number of clubs registering as a Try Bowls club, bringing the total to 375 clubs across Scotland. In addition, last year, we committed to invest £65,000 to create 24 Try Bowls Activator positions to provide strong, meaningful, localised support for clubs; specifically, community to club transition, retention, and membership growth in addition to the support provided by our wonderful National Development Officers.

At the end of the 2023 season, we surveyed Try Bowls clubs as well as capturing feedback from our eight Try Bowls Activators to gather insights on the Try Bowls programme and how we can continue to progress this club development support offering.
