Bowls Scotland Gents National Top 10

Bowls Scotland has today confirmed updates to its national competitions calendar for the 2026 season, following feedback from players, clubs and associations.

The Bowls Scotland Gents National Top 10 competition will be removed from the upcoming event calendar. This decision acknowledges that a significant number of similar competitive opportunities already exist for male players across the country at club, county, and national levels. We would like to thank all those that have taken part in this event in previous years.

The Bowls Scotland Ladies National Top 10 will be maintained. This aligns directly with Bowls Scotland’s strategic aims to protect and enhance dedicated opportunities for female players, ensuring the women's game receives the visibility and competitive framework required for continued growth.

These changes come ahead of a wider competitions review set to take place throughout 2026. This comprehensive look at the competitions structure will ensure all Bowls Scotland competitions are fit for purpose and meeting the evolving needs of our modern membership moving forward. While the Gents National Top 10 is removed for this cycle, Bowls Scotland remains dedicated to providing high-quality experiences for all bowlers.
