How do clubs sign up?
To register your club as a Try Bowls Club, click on the purple "Try Bowls Registration" button in the top right corner of our website and enter the clubs details.
Alternatively, clubs can email trybowls@bowlsscotland.com providing their club name and main contact's email and phone number.

2023 Try Bowls Highlights
Last season saw an increase in clubs moving to the new Try Bowls Club format with 397 clubs registering across Scotland that their doors are open to the local community to come along to the club.

Try Bowls Survey
2023 saw a 46% increase in the number of clubs registering as a Try Bowls club, bringing the total to 375 clubs across Scotland. In addition, last year, we committed to invest £65,000 to create 24 Try Bowls Activator positions to provide strong, meaningful, localised support for clubs; specifically, community to club transition, retention, and membership growth in addition to the support provided by our wonderful National Development Officers.
At the end of the 2023 Season, we surveyed Try Bowls clubs as well as capturing feedback from the 8 Try Bowls Activators to gather insights on the Try Bowls programme and how we can continue to progress this club development support offering.
