How you got into Bowls – A number of my family play bowls, and I was originally encouraged by a neighbour to join my local club.

Why you wanted to be a TBA - The current demographic at my own club is of the older generation, there is still a stigma with bowls that it is not a young person’s sport. Being a TBA gives me an opportunity to reach out to local communities to try and change this image.

What would you say to encourage people to try bowls - It’s a fun sport which encourages different generations to mix in a social environment. Bowls can help keep you active and healthy, especially being outdoors.
