How you got into Bowls - I got into bowls through a work colleague (at the time), they had received a leaflet through their door advertising an open day at their local bowling club and I offered to tag along to keep him company. We enjoyed it so much we ended up joining.

Why you wanted to be a TBA - I've bowled for about 12 years now and over the years I've noticed the membership numbers of a lot of clubs, including my own, have been falling and I want to do what I can to help whenever I can. I believe Try Bowls/open days are the way forward along with social media advertising.

What would you say to encourage people to try bowls - I would encourage everyone to give bowls a try as you won't know what it’s like until you have tried it.
