Commonwealth Games Medallists
Lawn Bowls has been one of Team Scotland's most successful sports throughout the history of the Commonwealth Games. Scotland's finest players have won a total of 37 medals to date, including 18 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze.
Willie Wood holds the record for most Games appearances of any Scottish athlete from any sport. He is also Team Scotland’s oldest competitor to date, aged 72 during his final Games at Delhi, India in 2010. He won two gold, one silver and one bronze across his Commonwealth career.
With five gold and one silver medal, Alex Marshall is not only Team Scotland’s most successful bowler, but also tops the all-time list of Scotland’s Commonwealth Games medallists across all sports.
