As part of the day-to-day running of a club it is likely that personal information will be processed. For example, clubs may collect and hold the names and addresses of their members; it may gather email addresses of people who visit the club on an open day; or it may distribute contact information to enable players to arrange ties.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets out the grounds for lawful processing of personal data for organisations.
